Brad was on his way out but still took the time to check the temp of my brakes and suggest a suitable cooling-off period. He also took time out of his day to explain safe mountain driving techniques to a newbie like myself (lower gear, not riding brakes, etc, no brainer to locals I'm sure). I was not charged a penny, this was just a kind man helping out a stranger.
I waited an hour for the brakes to cool as suggested and following Brad's driving advice I was able to make it the rest of the way through Colorado with no further incidents. He helped turn a scary, dangerous trip down the mountains into a safe and pleasant one. This seems like it is a good, honest place and if I'm ever in the area again and need a mechanic I will definitely come back.
