I'd give 10 stars if I could. Car trouble is always a pain, more so if you are older, female and 1,000 miles from home. It was Friday night and due to a bad tire, I doubted I could drive another 2 miles so I parked at the office. The next morning the owner came by and said they were closed. Already behind schedule, he was busy with family from out of town and getting ready with his plan to meet others. When I asked if he could look at the tire to see if it was drivable, he took pity on me and said he'd fix it. Thank goodness! Turns out I had 2 leaks. Because he was a good conversationalist and efficient, time went by quickly. I wanted to pay extra for an after hours emergency but he wouldn't take it. What a special man - goes out of his way to help others, honest, affable and a veteran too. With his repair he gave me back my summer vacation knowing I could visit the most remote places and not be stranded. I was sooo grateful. Oh and his repair has held up now 2000 miles later.

SO GRATEFUL for JH Mountain!!!! My engine light started flashing on a Sunday. Monday morning, after calling three other places (all three couldn’t even run diagnostics until the end of the week. The people at JH, knew I was stranded, knew I had googled “flashing engine light” (which of course guarantees disaster) and they knew I am a woman. They told me if I could get it towed to them, they could at least diagnose it. Well, an hour later they call, tell me what the problem is and that it'd be an hour or so. I picked up my fixed car an hour later and out of there for $350. The sad truth is, this would have been a scenario that 9 out of 10 garages would have taken advantage of the customer. JH took care of me and my car with integrity, kindness and professionalism. I am so grateful to have found them.

I needed to stop here on a road trip because my car was giving me problems. Shafi was amazingly kind and helpful, going above and beyond to not only get me back on the road, but also to reassure me that my car would make it to my destination, what I needed to do when I got there, and even how to handle driving in the mountains better. Thank you, Shafi!

I had AAA tow my car there when it broke down at night on I-70 as opposed to the nearby AAA-approved shop that got mixed/bad reviews. They were able to look at it by the next afternoon, and ultimately, the engine was shot and would cost more than it was worth to replace it. The diagnosis cost $125 (they didn't quote some taxes/fees originally), and they would have charged a daily storage fee if I didn't get it off their lot within 48 hours if I wasn't getting it fixed there, but I did. It was a stressful situation, but their rates and work seemed fair.

I have used J & H a couple of different times for repairs on my sprinter van. The most recent experience was to deal with an engine malfunction that was possibly related to a previous repair (2 years ago) done by J & H. Instead of telling me it was outside their warranty period and to leave, Kamil (the owner) took the van back in and spent over 15 free hours trying to solve the problem. Although we had to send it to a different (sprinter specialist) shop, Kamil worked with me and covered $1,800 dollars’ worth of the repair. These guys will surely go out of their way to make sure you (the customer) are satisfied and thus I do recommend you take your vehicle here.
