J H checked out the van and gave me the information I needed in a very open and helpful way. Having talked through our options, we opted to tow the vehicle out of the mountains. Talk about karma - My son & his girlfriend were driving to San Diego for spring break and when they hit the hills of Colorado, the pressure light flashed and DIC warned Pressure Loss - Stop The Car. They nursed the Impala into Silverthorne where I directed them to JH Mountain Auto Services because of the great reviews on Google. Kamil, the owner at said they were booked thru next week but agreed to take a look at the car and replace the pressure sensor if it appeared to be the problem. 3 hours later, with a new PS switch, they are back on the road to sand and sun. Can't thank Kamil and his team enough for fitting them into a busy schedule, charging us a fair rate, and guaranteeing his work for a year - even if it fails back home. Awesome!

Showed up with a tire that was losing air due to a bad valve. Brad came out and determined the problem and replaced the faulty part in minutes. A small problem that only cost about $20 and I was on my way quickly. I was impressed that I could show up unannounced and they were very willing to jump right in and determine the problem. I would highly recommend them for any auto problems in the Silverthorne area.

I live in Missouri but as I drove through Colorado I had an issue arise. It turns out it was a programming error but the employees could have told me it was a couple of different mechanical issues, all of which would have been expensive and all would have made sense for the problem I was having. Especially as a tourist, I figured these guys would try to pull a fast one on me, nope. Extremely satisfied with how honest they were. They told me it was just a fluke, it shouldn't happen again (which it didn't all 900+ miles back home), and to take it back to a GM place to have them fix the programming. Problem solved, thanks guys!

Did a silly thing while warming up the car on a cold snowy night, started the car the proceeded to clear snow from the windshield. In the process, as I shut the door yep I hit the door lock. Within ten minutes Carmine from JH Mountain Auto arrived, had doors unlocked in less than a minute. Professional and friendly, and yes he verified it was my car when he got it unlocked. Where do I start?!  We live in Wheat Ridge, CO.  We had a tire come off of our travel trailer coming home from camping for the weekend, destroying the rear axle on the trailer.  Not only were we stranded on the hwy about 8 miles north of Silverthorne, but we also had no service and it was a Sunday.  We ditched the trailer and drove into Silverthorne.  Definitely frazzled and not quite sure what to do, we called the first place that came up on google.  Fingers crossed, they answered!!!  Camil advised us on what to do to avoid a $1500 tow bill and limp it to his shop.  He was so accommodating and kind, we were/still are so grateful that they answered on a Sunday.  Finally, after some time getting the trailer there they took the trailer in and we went home calm, happy, and very comfortable with where/whom we left it with.  Before we know it we are picking up the trailer all fixed and couldn't be happier with the cost, support, professionalism, and kindness that Camil and the rest of the crew at JH Mountain auto services showed us.  I would recommend this shop to any and everyone that would hear me.  They take wonderful care of their shop and amazing care of their customers.  I would not hesitate to take my vehicles, or trailers, here again.  Thank you, guys!!!!  From the bottom of our hearts!!!!

We have been taking our vehicles to JH for years and always get top-notch customer service and repairs. Unlike other shops, JH is upfront and honest about repairs and they don't overcharge. I had to take my car to the dealer for a warranty repair and JH took the time to go over to the dealer and tell them what needed to be done and defend my warranty claim when the dealer was being difficult to deal with. This is the only place I will take my car to for service.

This place is amazing. The BEST auto repair I have ever been to. I was passing through Colorado on my road trip from Utah to Michigan, and Kamil and JH Mountain Auto went above and beyond. Midas had totally screwed up my car to the point of my wheel almost falling off and my brakes completely messed up. Kamil not only fixed my car to perfection but advocated on my behalf to call Midas and express his concern as an auto mechanic. This stop was very unexpected, and they were so accommodating and helpful. I would recommend JH Mountain Auto Services to anyone!! They were amazing.  My transmission started to go out just east of the Eisenhower tunnel.  Coasted into their shop in Silverthorne and that was a blessing.  Even though they were swamped, they got the car running so I could get back to Denver at the end of our weekend in Breck.  Almost willing to drive up there from Denver to have my car serviced.  They were that good.
