We had an emergency and I Googled mechanics.  JH Mountain services came up.  It was 9:30 at night on a Friday.  I was amazed at how helpful this company was!  I cannot say enough about how great they are. A year from today, I was in the process of moving from Chicago to Las Vegas Nevada. My ride was going smooth up until I got to that scary mountain in Silverthorne. I will never forget this experience when I lost my brakes going down those beautiful scary mountains.

The absolute best service you could ask for. I got my car stuck in Breck and I called Kamil (owner) at 1200 am. He had a tow truck there within the hour to help me out, not only getting me out of a tight spot but also getting me back home. His shop does exemplary work and will leave no one disappointed. So I did a cross-country road trip from Massachusetts to California with my 2001 Acura. Had a recalled transmission, so I expected that to be the *very expensive* problem once again. Drove around like a chicken with its head cut off trying to find out who can help (while being 2000 miles from home and 1000 miles from my destination) until a man at a gas station recommended JH Auto. I cannot speak highly enough of my experience here. Besides all staff being friendly, Kamil was so knowledgeable about my car as soon as we pulled up which immediately made me trust him. We were three women who walked into an autobody shop admitting that we knew nothing - and were ready to leave our car with them, send them the title to crush it and rent a car to finish the drive to CA. Kamil came back from a test drive and let us know it wasn't the transmission. (We were just too stupid to know to downshift in the MOUNTAINS OF COLORADO). Objectively looking back on the experience, they could have so easily taken advantage of our lack of knowledge and ended up with a decent car that we would have sent them the title to. But that's not what happened. This is a place you can trust. They are honest, helpful, and kind. And most importantly, they are very good at their jobs and do so with a sense of integrity.

Labor Day weekend, my family and I decided to go camping at Horsetooth Campground. After a VERY scary shimmy down into Silverthorne just outside of the Eisenhower Tunnel, my brakes were D-O-N-E. I was terrified to head home after the weekend, and even more worried that I wouldn't be able to find a shop open on a holiday weekend...much less a Saturday. The gentlemen at JH Mountain were not only fairly priced but the work was done quickly while my daughter and I waited. I was visiting the area from out of state and my check engine light came on. After having it checked out at Auto Zone and being referred here, I was treated wonderfully! My fiancé explained the situation and was told that the light probably came on because of the lack of oxygen at this altitude, which my car is obviously not used to. He said that he could charge me $100 to run tests and check it out, but he was 99.99% positive in what he told us. It was definitely a huge relief to not have to have an unexpected expense on vacation. I was truly appreciative.

Best service!!!  Not only were they quick and efficient but they truly care! The great people at JH went above and beyond for me as I was stranded in Silverthorne when I was en route to Grand Junction from Denver when my alternator went out at the top of the summit. The owner is very involved in his business and cared very much that my car was repaired in a timely manner. He even stayed after hours!  Everyone is very friendly, welcoming, and efficient. Walked in without appointment as need urgent car lighter fixed. A nice gentleman explained everything saying I need to leave the car as they were quite busy.  As walking out he offered to check on it.  It turned out to be a fuse.  He replaced it right away and didn't charge me anything.  Excellent service!  I recommend it a lot and I will be back there with all of my car repairs now!

Single-Handedly the best auto shop I have ever been to. My car had broken down on the highway going west to Aspen from Denver. These guys stayed open late on a Saturday night (Valentine's Day BTW) to work on my car and get in running before the night was over. JH Mountain was the best auto company I have used in years! Sadly, I'm from Texas so I'll only get to use them when I go skiing but just wanted to leave a review of how great they were. Our rental car tire had a nail in it and I needed someone to fix it on a Sunday. NOWHERE was open but when I called Matt at JH he came to the rescue! They weren't even open and he helped me get the tire plugged, the spare put back up under the car, and the new tire fixed like new. Not only were Matt and the other Tech helpful they were also both super friendly! Matt seems to have the hook up with all things auto and I could not have been happier with his service! Sure do wish all auto shops were like JH Mountain Auto Services!

I want folks in the Silverthorne area to know that JH Mountain Auto Services and their service manager, Brad Rush, are honest and helpful. I was involved long distance in helping my son, who had been taken advantage of by a local mechanic on a transmission installation repair job that went uncompleted for almost two months. In an effort to resolve the situation, JH Mountain Auto Services performed a tow service as one would expect. When discussing the completion of the repair, Mr. Rush was very straightforward in providing an estimate for the transmission repair and for the repair of additional damage likely caused by the missing-in-action mechanic. Mr. Rush then showed his honorable and compassionate nature by calling the manager and district manager of the auto parts store where my son purchased the transmission in an effort to facilitate a refund. This was truly the actions of a Good Samaritan. Again, JH Mountain Auto Service is the most reputable business one could hope to find.

By far the best customer service I've ever had, particularly from mechanics. Moving from Los Angeles to the east coast, my rental truck broke down 10 miles east of Vail on a Sunday afternoon. Worse, it was Father's Day. Camil and his team spent 4 hours that afternoon trying to get a new alternator, and eventually towed me into town and dropped me off at a hotel.
