For any auto emergency in the mountains, I would take my vehicle here. They were fast, honest, and upfront about what fixes were needed. I even have a Ford and would never go back to the dealership next door.

Where do I start?!  We live in Wheat Ridge, CO.  We had a tire come off of our travel trailer coming home from camping for the weekend, destroying the rear axle on the trailer.  Not only were we stranded on the hwy about 8 miles north of Silverthorne, but we also had no service and it was a Sunday.  We ditched the trailer and drove into Silverthorne.  Definitely frazzled and not quite sure what to do, we called the first place that came up on google.  Fingers crossed, they answered!!!  Camil advised us on what to do to avoid a $1500 tow bill and limp it to his shop.  He was so accommodating and kind, we were/still are so grateful that they answered on a Sunday.  Finally, after some time getting the trailer there they took the trailer in and we went home calm, happy, and very comfortable with where/whom we left it with.  Before we know it we are picking up the trailer all fixed and couldn't be happier with the cost, support, professionalism, and kindness that Camil and the rest of the crew at JH Mountain auto services showed us.  I would recommend this shop to any and everyone that would hear me.  They take wonderful care of their shop and amazing care of their customers.  I would not hesitate to take my vehicles, or trailers, here again.  Thank you, guys!!!!  From the bottom of our hearts!!!!

We have been taking our vehicles to JH for years and always get top-notch customer service and repairs. Unlike other shops, JH is upfront and honest about repairs and they don't overcharge. I had to take my car to the dealer for a warranty repair and JH took the time to go over to the dealer and tell them what needed to be done and defend my warranty claim when the dealer was being difficult to deal with. This is the only place I will take my car to for service.

This place is amazing. The BEST auto repair I have ever been to. I was passing through Colorado on my road trip from Utah to Michigan, and Kamil and JH Mountain Auto went above and beyond. Midas had totally screwed up my car to the point of my wheel almost falling off and my brakes completely messed up. Kamil not only fixed my car to perfection but advocated on my behalf to call Midas and express his concern as an auto mechanic. This stop was very unexpected, and they were so accommodating and helpful. I would recommend JH Mountain Auto Services to anyone!! They truly care about the customer and the quality of their work and your vehicle. I cannot express how grateful I am to them for their hard work and services during our road trip. You can TRUST them...and that’s something that’s rare. also, they have an amazing dog.

They were amazing.  My transmission started to go out just east of the Eisenhower tunnel.  Coasted into their shop in Silverthorne and that was a blessing.  Even though they were swamped, they got the car running so I could get back to Denver at the end of our weekend in Breck.  Almost willing to drive up there from Denver to have my car serviced.  They were that good.

A year from today, I was in the process of moving from Chicago to Las Vegas Nevada. My ride was going smooth up until I got to that scary mountain in Silverthorne. I will never forget this experience when I lost my brakes going down those beautiful scary mountains.

The absolute best service you could ask for. I got my car stuck in Breck and I called Kamil (owner) at 1200 am. He had a tow truck there within the hour to help me out, not only getting me out of a tight spot but also getting me back home. His shop does exemplary work and will leave no one disappointed. If you're in summit county, call J H. It's the best around.

So I did a cross-country road trip from Massachusetts to California with my 2001 Acura. Had a recalled transmission, so I expected that to be the *very expensive* problem once again. Drove around like a chicken with its head cut off trying to find out who can help (while being 2000 miles from home and 1000 miles from my destination) until a man at a gas station recommended JH Auto. I cannot speak highly enough of my experience here. Besides all staff being friendly, Kamil was so knowledgeable about my car as soon as we pulled up which immediately made me trust him. We were three women who walked into an autobody shop admitting that we knew nothing - and were ready to leave our car with them, send them the title to crush it and rent a car to finish the drive to CA. Kamil came back from a test drive and let us know it wasn't the transmission. (We were just too stupid to know to downshift in the MOUNTAINS OF COLORADO). Objectively looking back on the experience, they could have so easily taken advantage of our lack of knowledge and ended up with a decent car that we would have sent them the title to. But that's not what happened. This is a place you can trust. They are honest, helpful, and kind. And most importantly, they are very good at their jobs and do so with a sense of integrity.

Labor Day weekend, my family and I decided to go camping at Horsetooth Campground. After a VERY scary shimmy down into Silverthorne just outside of the Eisenhower Tunnel, my brakes were D-O-N-E. I was terrified to head home after the weekend, and even more worried that I wouldn't be able to find a shop open on a holiday weekend...much less a Saturday. The gentlemen at JH Mountain were not only fairly priced but the work was done quickly while my daughter and I waited. I was grateful to the shop owner and his fantastic staff for their knowledge of what was needed, workmanship, work ethic, and integrity. We were pleased to drive home with confidence knowing that we were well taken care of. Thank you - thank you - thank you JH Mountain! You saved us from the scary shimmy home. We appreciate you.

I was visiting the area from out of state and my check engine light came on. After having it checked out at Auto Zone and being referred here, I was treated wonderfully! My fiancé explained the situation and was told that the light probably came on because of the lack of oxygen at this altitude, which my car is obviously not used to. He said that he could charge me $100 to run tests and check it out, but he was 99.99% positive in what he told us. It was definitely a huge relief to not have to have an unexpected expense on vacation. I was truly appreciative.

Best service!!!  Not only were they quick and efficient but they truly care! The great people at JH went above and beyond for me as I was stranded in Silverthorne when I was en route to Grand Junction from Denver when my alternator went out at the top of the summit. The owner is very involved in his business and cared very much that my car was repaired in a timely manner. He even stayed after hours!  Everyone is very friendly, welcoming, and efficient. I left confident that I received the best quality service available! Thank you guys for the excellent service and for making my situation a lot less stressful! I will be telling everyone I know!

Walked in without appointment as need urgent car lighter fixed. A nice gentleman explained everything saying I need to leave the car as they were quite busy.  As walking out he offered to check on it.  It turned out to be a fuse.  He replaced it right away and didn't charge me anything.  Excellent service!  I recommend it a lot and I will be back there with all of my car repairs now!
