Getting this review in weeks after my experience with JH.  I was on my way to Sturgis, SD for the Bike Rally towing a trailer through the Colorado mountains with my 2008 Dodge Ram 1500.  This truck has over 160K on it and it still has many original parts on it.  Considering that it spent 7 years in the Chicago Metro area and then the last 2 years in Arizona.  Needless to say, this is the best vehicle I ever owned.

We were in Silverthorne for the day, up from Greeley.  Our mini-van began making grinding sounds, pointing to a brake issue.  Concerned about serious problems, we began looking for a repair shop that could take us.  NO ONE was available to even look at our problem - except for JH auto Service.  Not only did they make time, but they were also able to diagnose the problem, order the parts and repair the car within about 2 hours AND at a reasonable cost.  We were impressed with the positive attitudes of the guys at the shop and in particular with the owner who, even though obviously busy, made us feel as though we were the most important customers he had.  We've had no problems with our car since the repair and would consider bringing it to Silverthorne just to have them work on it.  Great work ethic, outstanding skills, terrific interaction with customers.  If there was a 6th star, I'd have checked it!

I limped into Silverthorn, CO when my Ford Ranger was acting as though I were in second gear when I was in drive. It was late on a Friday and I called the shop just before 5 pm. I spoke with the owner and set an appointment for my truck for the next day. He met me at the shop (on a Saturday) right on time and, after performing a cursory evaluation, told me that he thought the truck was fine. Since I was heading into the wilderness, I asked that he hook the truck up to their computer and do a more thorough exam. He called in a mechanic and the analysis was performed in about an hour. Everything checked out as the owner had predicted but there was a lowish normal reading on the catalytic converter so they thought that the converter might have had a temporary blockage of some kind. I was able to leave with my mind at rest. As it turns out, they were correct, the truck was fine and performed well throughout my trip to Grand Canyon and on to Prescott Valley, AZ. I was treated with professionalism and honesty by everyone at the shop. I highly recommend JH Mountain Auto Services and if I ever have vehicle problems on one of my frequent trips into the mountains will use them again.

Wow!  What a great auto shop!!!!  Thanks so much for getting us running again.  Woke up to a dead battery for the third time in two weeks on a second battery purchased from a local auto parts store in Denver.  Up for a weekend away from the city, geared up ready for skiing, and had to change plans for the day.  Was successful in getting the car jumped and finding JH Mountain Auto Services phone number with a google search.  Called and spoke with Matt and he told us to come in.  Figured we would wind up spending a whole day waiting on the car to get fixed and only imagined what we would be dealing with in-car expense.  JH Mountain Auto got us in and out within a little over an hour! :)  They discovered that the auto parts store had incorrectly installed the second battery.  They fixed the connection issues and we left the store with only a $50 bill.  Would definitely recommend JH Mountain Auto to all.  Excellent service!!!!!

Pulled in unexpectedly on our drive from Brooklyn to CA. Super friendly, super helpful. Explained everything clearly and made recommendations for tire places in the area. It was a bummer to have to stay an extra night and pay for a hotel, but obviously, brakes are worth it. A bit more communication would have been preferable (updates), I think, but they were crazy busy and working as hard as they could. Lots of stranded travelers! It's hard when you're stuck, but luckily we came across an amazing shop! I definitely recommend this place - plus the shop dog is adorable and makes the time pass.

My car broke down in Frisco, I thought it was the fuel pump because I supposedly had the fuel relay in the fuse box checked by Springs Auto and Truck Services Center in Colorado Springs, they told me that wasn't it. I replaced another part so I just left the fuel pump so that's what I ordered. One of the guys from JH mountain auto misread my order and did a diagnostic and found that it IS the fuel relay in the fuse box saving me 200 bucks. I think from now on I will pay for the diagnostic because not every mechanic is as honest and that's huge. JH quoted me a tow bill of 125 and charged me 100. This is good business.

Honest people, hard workers. One of the best shops if not the number one in the county. At JH Mountain Auto they have an awesome mindset of just helping their customers as much as they can while doing the honest thing, which is something that I can definitely appreciate! Came in for an oil change and an inspection before a long road trip, and I will be returning here for any other auto issues!

On vacation and experienced a flat tire.  JH Mountain Auto Services got me in immediately, fixed the flat promptly, and reinstalled the repaired tire.  They even torqued the wheel to factory specs and cleaned the wheel for me.  All in less than 20' and very reasonably priced.  Highly recommend them if you need any automotive work.

Our son was stranded without a running vehicle at Keystone housing after ski resorts and support services such as shuttle and bus routes were canceled. Your company came right away with a tow truck during the afternoon and had his alternator replaced and car ready for pick up the following day! 5 years ago we were about 3000 miles over on our oil change. We pulled in and even though they were slammed, the owner Kamil said he would get it done. They did a great job and went out of their way to do that for us. The price was awesome. You can't find better service than what we came across here. Had a problem with our brakes when we arrived in the mountains.  I dropped the car off on Tuesday but was told they probably couldn't get to it until Wednesday.  They diagnosed the problem Tuesday, called to let me know what was needed and the cost.  They finished the job on Tuesday.  The price was reasonable.
