Called the place yesterday afternoon for rattling/grinding in the front of my vehicle, Matt was super awesome and told me to drop it off the following morning and they'd get to it. My boyfriend dropped it off at 9, I got a call at about 12:30 saying it was done, what the problem was, and that it's ready to pick up whenever. Super-fast, super friendly, no hassle at all, not pricey, and now my car is all hunky-dory. They're superheroes, definitely will be coming back to this place in the future.

I burned up my brakes driving through the mountains on a Sunday night. After searching the internet for a repair shop in the area, I decided to call J H on Monday morning. They were not only able to get me in before the shop actually opened, but they worked on my car right away. I counted 24 other jobs that these guys were working on, but they helped me out anyway. Their price was reasonable and the head guy even took the time to take me out for a test drive to demonstrate the best way to downshift in the mountains. My family and I were able to enjoy our week in Dillon because these guys were trustworthy, reasonable, and very helpful. Thank you JH Mountain Auto Services!

By far the best customer service I've ever had, particularly from mechanics. Moving from Los Angeles to the east coast, my rental truck broke down 10 miles east of Vail on a Sunday afternoon. Worse, it was Father's Day. Camil and his team spent 4 hours that afternoon trying to get a new alternator, and eventually towed me into town and dropped me off at a hotel.
I lost my keys and they did everything they could to help me out. The owner was awesome and went out of his way to help me out during my stressful time. They brought my car back to the shop near my friends in Silverthorne for little to no charge. They spent 30 minutes helping me look for my keys in my car. Lastly, they even watched over my dog for an hour while I went to pick up my keys that had been found at Keystone.
Dropping down the Summit side of Loveland Pass, my Blazer blew an oil gasket. With a race in Leadville the next morning and my family in our Chevy Blazer, we were desperate to get a vehicle for the weekend and have the repairs done. After several phone calls, JH Mountain Auto offered to take a look at our Blazer. Not only did they do the repairs quickly and at a reasonable price, but they also helped my family track down a hefty discount on a rental so we could make the race and not have to spend the weekend in an auto shop, waiting. Amazing and friendly. Not that I hope or expect to break down again in Summit County, but if I do, there is no question who would be our first phone call.

This place is great if you need repairs done. This guy came in on a Saturday when they were closed. When it became apparent that he wouldn't be able to fix the car he proceeded to do everything that he could to find us a rental car so that we could get going on our trip since we didn't have time to wait. Then while we were there another guy came in and he was having car trouble he stayed to help him. It is good to know that there are still people that believe that live by the golden rule. This place is phenomenal. If I lived in the area I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone needing a repair.

I drove through Silverthorne on my way to Breckenridge, when I noticed my brakes were shakey. I knew I had brake problems. I called JH Mountain Auto Services on a Saturday night. I spoke to Camil who offered to work on a Sunday when the shop is usually closed. He even offered to pick me up and drop me off. I was VERY pleased with the service and quality of the work done to my car. The location was within walking distance of the outlet mall which made the wait for the car to be done seem like it didn’t delay my vacation at all. The waiting room was also very clean and comfortable. The dog was also really cool. It was also very reasonably priced.

So nice, so accommodating, great service! On route to Aspen just before the fourth of July holiday we suspected we had a problem with our alternator. After a few calls to Frisco service shops who declined to see us (where we were closest), JH Auto said they would check it out. It was our alternator. We would have missed our long holiday weekend in Aspen had it not been for their willingness to see us and their quick action in finding us a rental car 10 minutes before everything closed on July 3! The alternator was fixed and we were able to pick up our car on our way back home. Thank you! Highly recommend!

It’s not often, if ever when somebody says that had a great experience with a new mechanic. But it was the case here. I was driving west on I-70 when coming out of the Eisenhower Tunnel when my brake line burst and I lost the ability to use my brakes. Silverthrone was the first exit I could get off at, it was after 6 so all shops were closed. After spending the night I was referred to another shop in town by an auto parts store, upon arrival they said that they could maybe get me in in two days and then maybe see if they had the right stuff to fix it. As be a passing traveler I didn't have two days to wait, I googled shops in town and saw JH and their review rating and decided to take my car over there. They were honest and said that they would try to get my car in that day after they finished the work they promised to others first.
Brad was on his way out but still took the time to check the temp of my brakes and suggest a suitable cooling-off period. He also took time out of his day to explain safe mountain driving techniques to a newbie like myself (lower gear, not riding brakes, etc, no brainer to locals I'm sure). I was not charged a penny, this was just a kind man helping out a stranger.
I blew out the sidewall on my tire on I70 just up the road from JH. I called after work hours and the owner picked up. He went into his shop to see if he could find a replacement tire and get it all set THAT NIGHT. Absolutely the nicest guy, honest and professional. Highly recommend.

Wonderful kind service. They were able to take me in the same day for installing a tow hitch and light kit! That was big. Thank you for your kindness too. Great location to take a walk on the water and have a meal while you wait.

Last week we arrived in Silverthorne with a bad radiator hose and the engine of our Jeep overheating. After calling a couple of shops who were either too busy to get us in or too busy to answer the phone, I got in touch with JH Mountain and they said they could take a look at it. The guy I spoke with said they were short-handed, but they would call as soon as possible. The guys got me back on the road by the end of the day. After having a major dealership take over four days to diagnose and repair a relatively simple component I was very pleased with the quick, super courteous, reasonably priced repair that JH Mountain Auto provided.

A great trustworthy team. A relief to find honest mechanics in the mountains. Shafi was very helpful. They got my truck repaired under warranty and had me back on the road in three hours!
