Words can’t explain how great of an experience I had with JH Auto! I had a little scare taking my vehicle through the mountains from Denver to Grand Junction and stopped here to have it looked at. I was greeted with complete professionalism by a guy named Shafi and the owner Camil and from the beginning felt that they really listened to me which is sometimes hard to find with mechanics. They checked everything out walked me through everything, and even went out of their way to let me fill up my water tank. I would recommend this place to anyone. Thanks again for everything JH Auto!

My daughter was leaving town heading back to the East coast when we discovered a screw in one of her tires.  This was on a Saturday.  I was concerned that getting the tire fixed on short notice would be a problem.  They fixed it in a matter of minutes.  Kudos to JH Mountain Auto.

We were on our way to Denver for a horse show our daughter was going to participate in, with horse and trailer in tow, when our truck started overheating. After spending over an hour, trying to get up Vail Pass, stopping every mile or so to cool it off, we called JH Auto. They said to come in when we got there and they would try to work us in to look at it. This was about 4:00 on Friday afternoon. Upon arrival, the owner ended up helping us and determined we could get the part we needed, but it would take about 3 hours of labor, and of course, due to the time, they wouldn’t be able to do it that night. Because of our daughter’s ride times, it wasn’t going to work to stay the night in Silverthorne. Judging by their prognosis of our problem, we believed we would be fine if we could just get over Eisenhower, as it was downhill to Denver, all the way from there. When we asked the owner if he knew anyone we could hire to pull our trailer to the top of the pass, he generously offered to do it. He hooked up to our trailer and we headed up the pass. We were able to switch back at the top, and made it to Denver with no more problems. We really appreciated him going “the extra mile/miles” to help us out! He really got us out of a pickle, and our daughter did great at the horse show, by the way.

I had a broken cv axle when I was out hunting. I made it to town and called JH  & they were able to get the part and replace it the same day within a couple of hours. My truck was repaired and I was out hunting again the same day. Great service.

The team at JH is absolutely amazing! I couldn’t speak higher of the service we received. We popped in with some issues with our transmission. I’ve had my fair share of bad experiences with mechanics in the past, but these guys did a great job of going above and beyond and restoring my faith in the industry. They were genuine, honest, professional, listened, and gave great advice. Their price was very fair, and they gave some great local travel tips. If you're looking for a mechanic I can highly recommend this place!

Lifesavers!  Coming down the hill after getting through the Eisenhower tunnel, brakes were shaking terribly?!?!  Warped rotors and pads needed to be replaced....all done within 3 hours and we were back on the road to Palisade.  Thanks for the great service, quick response, and saving our weekend.  Would recommend it to all!!

They have done some serious work on an older vehicle of mine. They have also done less serious, but no less important work on my second car. JH has become my first phone call for car upkeep I don't have the tools or perhaps time for.  Prices are fair, and I've never walked away wincing from the bill. I would recommend it.

These folks are life-savers. My check engine light came on when I was passing through Dillon on Christmas Eve and these guys were the only ones who would see me. JH Mountain is amazing.  They give my 15-year-old SUV amazing service.  They have helped with oil changes, electrical issues, and switching my summer and winter tires.  They always quote a fair price and stick to it (hint it’s cheaper if you don’t use a credit card).  I am only in Colorado for part of the year, and I wish that I could get such great service elsewhere.  JH has even been able to reset service lights in my vehicle (after doing the work) that people in other places claimed could only be reset at the dealer.

I was driving from Illinois to Utah and my radiator cap busted. After being towed to JH Auto a few minutes before they closed, a small crew of guys told me they would try to get to servicing my car before they closed up shop. The owner could tell I was having a rough day and offered assurance and a drink. After taking a quick look at the car, the problem was realized, fixed and I was on my way again. Overall I'm happy. Brought a few vehicles here over the years and their cost and turnaround time beats most other shops in our area. On my last visit, there were some install issues with high-performance parts I brought to them. They were willing to work with me to discover the problem and were happy to make it all right. Didn't argue, didn't blame. Second round install went great. The Prelude rips. Communication and demeanor from both the front desk and mechanics are top-notch. Car repairs can be stressful by nature and these locals do what they can to make it easy.
