We shredded a tire in the tunnel and had AAA give us a tow to Silverthorne. This was the only shop I could find that was open on Saturday. They were slammed but the two guys working that day made quick work of helping us confirm the tire could not be patched and that we had to use the spare. We were in and out in under 45 mins.

Recently had major shaking of the steering wheel coming down the mountain into Silverthorne. It was a Saturday and most things were closed. I was afraid I would need to replace my brakes or some other large expense. They were so nice to me as I was a wreck. I was headed to a photography job in Steamboat. Turns out it was a user error and they showed me how to put my car in second. Was charged $50 for the labor and I was on my way. Very professional, very kind, very trustworthy. Highly suggest anyone use their services.

On 9/21/20 I had a flat tire and needed tire repair. Due to scheduled volume at tire shops (Utopia, Big O, and Ski Country in Frisco, CO), each of them was unable to help me. Then, I went to JH Mountain Auto Services. Kodie greeted me, understood my concern, made a recommendation for service, and had the shop respond and repair in less than 30 minutes. The evaluation was done and the estimate was finished and I was knowledgeable of the future possibilities for the future. You have to stay aware of what situation your car is in. Up for the weekend to go to Breckenridge and the brakes went bad. No one else in town was taking new customers. Called Friday around 4 and got an appointment for Saturday at 1 pm and gave me a quote. They took in the truck, had the parts ordered and ready, and was done in about 1 1/2 hours. Shafi was awesome and got us taken care of so we could enjoy the rest of our birthday weekend. 1st, thank you guys very much. 2nd, this is a business worthy of their reviews. We were going to the western slope our SUV broke down in the afternoon in Breckenridge the crew a JH stayed open until we arrived well after closing time. We had to continue our trip and asked them if they could have it ready by Monday morning so that we could pick it up on our way home. Instead of making us wait they came in on Sunday their day off and knocked it out. What a wonderful bunch of people. It is a law that independent automotive repair shops can maintain and service your warranty. All consumers are protected by the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, which is enforced by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). It prohibits a manufacturer from voiding the new vehicle's warranty or a vehicle's extended warranty because service was performed by a Non-Dealer/Independent Repair shop.

Per the FTC, “It's illegal for a dealer to deny your warranty coverage simply because you had warranty work or routine maintenance or repairs performed by our automotive shop. Routine maintenance can include anything from oil changes, tire rotations and belt replacement, to fluid checks, flushes, new brake pads, and inspections.” It is also important to note that the “Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act makes it illegal for a company to void your warranty or deny coverage under the warranty for the simple cause that you used an aftermarket or recycled part.”

One of the major perks of bringing your vehicle to an independent repair shop is the ability to make your money go further. Many times, warranties will have a limit or a deductible. Our goal is to make your warranty work for you.
